Frequently Asked Questions

What is Home Care and how does it benefit the recipient?

Home Care is a service offered to someone to help them within their own home. It can be as simple as meal preparation or light housework. A complete list of our services are present on the front page of our site.

The benefit of home care is that the recipient remains in the comforts of their home, in their own surroundings vs. going to a nursing home or assisted living facility. They receive one on one assistance geared to their specific needs.

Is Home Care offered only in private homes?

No, assistance is offered in hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living residences. Any facility that allows outside assistance will allow a Home Care provider.

How are Home Care providers monitored?

Each provider goes through an intense interview process with a police and reference check before being hired. Once a caregiver has been matched to the needs of a client, they are introduced along with the Director that has already been into the home or other location to assess the clients' particular needs.

Is there a contract to be signed?

No contracts are required. We try to match a caregiver with a clients specific needs but not all personalities match. We offer 100% guaranteed service and you are under no obligation to remain with a care provider that you are not completely happy with.

How quickly can service begin?

Quite often service can begin the same day. The Director does meet with the client/recipient first to assess each situation but can offer service usually within a few hours of that meeting. If an emergency situation is at hand there will be someone available as quickly as needed.

What hours can you provide service?

Caregivers are available 24/7. We do require a 2 hour minimum service. Overnight packages are available.

What are your rates?

Rates are a basic rate but are geared to individual requirements.

Do you accept VAC Health Identification Cards?
